Articles for submission must be previously unpublished and report on results of the fundamental
theoretical developments and the latest applied researches.
Apart from articles, the following papers should be submitted:
- copyright/license for publication.
PhD students submitting an article written solely by themselves (without co-authors) are exempt from publication fees.
In connection with the occurrence of objective circumstances, namely the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, the Editors of the journal announce the introduction of payment for the publication of articles in the journal "Pratsi Instytutu elektrodynamiky Natsionalnoi Akademii Nauk Ukrainy" from January 15, 2024 (in accordance with the Regulations on the Procedure for the Provision of Paid Services by the Institute of Electrodynamics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine dated February 20, 2020 No. 7аг).
Terms of payment for authors from Ukraine: the cost of publishing the article is UAH 50.00. per page designed in accordance with the requirements of the journal.
For foreign authors the cost of publishing an article is 3 Euros per page designed in accordance with the journal's requirements.
In exchange for partial compensation, articles are placed in the open access - Archive.
The Agreement for the provision of services for the publication of the article or the Invoice is sent to the authors after the final decision on the publication is made.
After making the payment, it is necessary to send the signed Agreement and a copy of the payment receipt (in electronic form) to the editorial address mlyv@ied.org.ua
Submission of the manuscript
The manuscript of the article is submitted electronically through the electronic edition after registration on the website of the journal. During registration, all fields with an asterisk must be filled in: first and last name, place of work (indicate in full in Ukrainian and English), country, e-mail address, username (in Latin letters), password, password reset. It is obligatory to enter data about all authors in Ukrainian and English: first and last name, place of work (the name of the institution must be indicated in full without abbreviations), ORCID (in Latin letters in the reference format, for example, https://orcid.org/0000-0000 -0000-000X). The sequence of authors must correspond to the sequence in the manuscript. The title of the article file must be in Latin letters <last name of the first author_full>.

Formatting the article
The structure of the article should consist of the following blocks:
Block 1 in English if the article is written in English:
– Title of the article;
– Names of all authors (first name, middle initial (if provided), last name);
– Complete title, post address of organizations where authors work, and e-mail address;
– Abstract (1000-1500 characters).
– Keywords.
The abstract should be informative, do not repeat the title, do not contain common phrases, do not duplicate the “Conclusions” and display the summary (purpose, objectives, methods, results).
Block 2: full article text in the original language.
Block 3: numbered list of references in the order mention.
Block 4: text of Block 1 in Ukrainian (this block can be translated in the editorship of the journal).
The full size of an article that consists of 5 blocks must be not more than 15 full A4 pages (Line spacing is 1).
Article – A4; margins: top – 2.3 cm, bottom – 1.5 cm, left and right – 2 cm.
Style of the Text: line spacing – 1. Font – Times New Roman 12pt, justified, automatic hyphenation, the indent of the first row – 1.25 cm. Title of article – font size is 12pt, bold, capital letters, left alignment. The article should not content footers and page numbering.
Style of the Equations: Mathematical equations should be built in as separate objects using Microsoft Equation Editor with letter-size Times New Roman 12pt, center justification, pages numbered in round parenthesis on the right. For Microsoft Equation Editor, the following parameters should be used: Latin letter and symbols should be elaborated in “Math type”, the Cyrillic ones – in “Text type”. The presentation of equations and their numbers in table format is not allowed. All symbols in equations and body text should have the same images. It is better not to place Microsoft Equation components in the body text of the article.
Style of the Figures: formats BMP, JPG (300 dpi), figure caption should contain the number and explanations; figures should be inserted into the text as “figure” not as “canvas”. Font size of the text under the picture caption is Times New Roman font 10pt. Figures are recommended with text wrap to 3 mm. Landscape orientation is not allowed.
In case of urgent necessity, a photo may also be printed.
Style of the Tables: Table Editor is Word, tables must be in the text, Font Times New Roman 11 pt. If tables are several, each of them must be with a serial number (without a sign number and without a name). The word "Table 1" - to the right over the table of bold font, 12pt.
Style of the References: bibliographical sources should be in the order mentioned in the text (they should be numbered at the beginning of each new line) and be written in Times New Roman 10pt. Each reference in the text should be numbered in brackets, with the number corresponding to one in the list of bibliographical sources.
The articles that are not formed according to these guidelines will be returned to the authors without consideration and review.

recommendations of leading foreign publishing houses. It will guarantee that the process of your paper’s publication will be as quick and effective as it is possible.
The Editorial Board is entitled to return a paper, which does not meet these guidelines.
