Abstract
The operation modes of magnetodynamic installations (MDI) using thyristor voltage regulators (TVR) with phase control are investigated. It is shown that the technological modes of electromagnetic pressure control in MDI with the use of TVR allow to reduce significantly power consumption, as well as to increase the MDI operating life.
